1 Percocet + 1 Percocet =

The Floor. Seriously I have been in a fog all day since I was given some at 6 am at the hospital and then sent home. I get up, I go back to bed, I get up, I go back to bed and currently I am up but I know I'll be back to bed in a bit. Ugh. It all started at 3 am this morning when I woke up in LOTS of pain on my left side. Which screams to me "KIDNEY STONE"!! I have been dealing with them for the past 14 + years of my life and know what that pain in one of my sides mean. Add a couple constant contractions then my doctor wanted me to go to the L&D for a look see.

No blood in urine, means possibly no kidney stone. Contractions could point to labor starting. No dilation. The IV (she was an awesome nurse, I didn't even feel her stick my hand when she put the IV in) fluids helped make me feel better. Dehydration? Perhaps. So, after being there 1 1/2 hours, they sent me home. Of course after taking 2 pills of that and 2 pills of this. I know the 2 percocets knocked me for a loop. We returned home and all 3 of us crawled in bed and went back to sleep.

Baby M's heartbeat kept reminding me of this kiddie TV show that Lil O likes to watch. The Backyardigans where they have a horse race. The heartbeat kept reminding me of a horse racing. At point I asked the nurse to turn it down so we could actually think.

I was excited and scared. Excited thinking maybe I would see my baby girl today and scared thinking that maybe I would see my baby girl today. I will be 38 weeks on Tuesday and know she will NOT come until she is ready. So I am going to enjoy this week with my husband and 3 children. Doing this and doing that. Then in 9 days see my new baby girl.

Hey Hi Hello :)

Good Sunday morning. I am just sitting here enjoying a moment. You know, that moment of silence with people still in bed and you can actually think for a moment. The calm before the storm. I haven’t posted in a week so I wanted to catch up.

I went to the doctor and found out I had gained 12 pounds since my December appointment. Well, I know where it went:

My belly looks like a road map. But that is okay, I earned every single stretch mark I have and will get. I go this coming week for my sugar test and Rhogam shot. Exciting eh? They have already scheduled another ultrasound for March to look at our growing baby girl. She is very active. Loves to be talked to. Loves when the kids talk to her for sure. Plus, she loves the occasional game of “Tag”.

I did go to Babies R Us this past week with my mamaw and great aunt. It was so much fun. My mamaw bought the baby a new bed–that will go in our room of course. I bought an all PINK bassinet for the living room area. Lil O found the softest PINK baby blanket for her baby sister. I already have it washed and Lil O has it in the bassinet waiting for her. ADORABLE! There wasn’t much to register for. I added a swing, bouncie seat, something for the bathtub, diaper stacker and a 1 year calendar to our Registry. They have a new organic brand at Babies R Us. LOVE IT!!!!!! So that is what I will be using. All I have to buy is the changing table I want to use. They do not have it in the store, only available on-line it says. It’s prefect for what we need. The top is the changing table and below is 3 drawers I can use for storage of all those baby clothes I have from Lil O. After all that baby shopping we took Lil O to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate. She had a blast and well my mamaw and great aunt did too. ~I already reserved to have O’s birthday party there in March.~ (Jennifer & Christina you should come too, since it is your birthday too.)

I started the new baby a soft PINK sweater this week.

I am working on the body part but it is beside the bed and there is still a sleeping husband in it. :)

There was no school on Friday so I took all 3 kids to see the new Veggie Movie. We had so much fun. Lil O enjoyed it so much!! And the POPCORN! She keeps asking now when we are going to the movies again. I see that as a regular request now. :)

I am still dealing with a kidney stone. YUCKY!!

Yes, I made a menu for the week ahead but am too lazy to get it. I do know meatloaf, chicken, salmon patties and lots of fresh veggies are on it. I already made my mamaw’s homemade sloppy joe recipe the other day. YUMMY!

HB bought a great new cheese book yesterday with some awesome looking recipes. I am going to try those next week. We love CHEESE in this house. Real cheese that is. LOL I’ll post them if we love them.

As you can tell, I have been very busy. Not to mention the “nesting” phase I told you about. Oh, I did get O’s memory book up to date as well. I love having a list and checking things off. We almost have O’s play area fixed for her. We put down her foam alphabet mat the other day and she was really tickled with that.

Enough talk about me and my family. I wish everyone a lovely Sunday with their family. I always make homemade pancakes on Sunday when everyone is awake. Bye Bye

Happy New Year (Almost)

Monday already? WOW! What a weekend. I was in the hospital with a KIDNEY STONE. Sent home with good drugs…waiting…

My HB is still sick but Lil O is much better.

Since snow is for-casted, I ran to the grocery store this morning to beat the loonies who think the world will end when the snow comes. I made some lemonade a bit ago. A weird request in the winter but it will be yummy. Then I made some homemade garlic hummus. YUMMY!

I cannot believe another year is almost over. Tomorrow will be January 1, 2008. The year 2007 had been full of happy things and full of sadness.

My great aunt losing her husband and my papaw dying. My MIL losing her favorite brother.

It also brought great things as well. H in her last year at middle school. (Maybe I should add that to the sad list as well.) B2 loving fourth grade! Lil O growing up so fast. Time flies for sure when you see the growth of your children. Getting pregnant with baby number 4. Life has been great for us and I am truly blessed.

I hope that you look upon 2007 and see all the great things you have been able to share with others. May you look forward to 2008 with soo many possibilities.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!!!!!!!!!!
