Superdad won’t buy me beer.
{SPOILERS of Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon!!}

The Adventures of Supermom®Twice I’ve added it to my grocery list and once I begged him as he was walking out the door but sadly he won’t buy me some brew while he is out.

I love beer.  I love the way it tastes and I love how it tastes.  That’s really all I can say to express my desire to drink a cold brew.  {nodding}

It’s been a hectic week with school, work and life.  I feel as if I need an emotional vacation that includes beer.  {I tease.}  I have a friend that just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas and she said it was wonderful!  It does sound a bit heavenly if I could get over the fact that I’d be on a boat not being able to see land.

That would freak me out a bit I believe.  If the boat could just travel the coast so a bit of land can be seen then I’d be okay.  I think.  She said she could only feel the boat moving a bit.

Have you been on a cruise?  Would you do it again?

{I also have a friend who just went on a Disney cruise to Alaska.}

I’d like that too.  Pack the sweaters and enjoy hot cocoa while whale watching.  Two extremes - Bahamas and Alaska.  Guess it depends on your mood.

I’m still chugging along in my book, book four of the Outlander series.  I can see they are setting it up for Roger and Bree to travel back in time to Jamie and Claire to stop the fire that kills them.  I’m half way through the book and curious as to what happens next.  I swear each book gets a tad bit longer.

HA HA!  By the time I get to the last book it will be 2000 pages long.  My friend started book six last night and she started reading the series AFTER me!!  So unfair.  We couldn’t even talk about the books when we had dinner Wednesday since she is ahead of me.  I cannot help it!  I just haven’t been able to read.  I hope to read this weekend so I can see what happens with Team Jamie and time travel.

What are you reading?

When I am not doing the bazillion things that I do each day I’ve been crocheting {WHEN I SHOULD BE READING} this pretty triangle shawl with fringes.  I’ve been using this new yarn that I absolutely love.  It’s Deborah Norville EVERYDAY Yarn.  It feels like velvet!  I just love it!  I think I’ve found a new brand as my favorite.  I hope to try out all the colors someday soon!  I’ll be sure to post pictures when I finish.

I really wish I could crochet and read at the same time.  It would make things so much easier for me.

What two talents do you wish that you could do?

{P.S.  Beer I like = Highlands St. Teresa Pale Ale}

Dear Michelle,
I used to crochet before I had a stroke that happened almost 15 years ago. I learned crochet from my mom when I was a little girl. With very small sized yarn as fine as crochet thread, she crocheted some life sized flowers. Would you be interested to come to my blogger and find out what it's about? My father named them "Everlasting Blossoms" because they always as beautiful as if they were blossoming in the spring.
