School starts this week. I’m dancing around the house.
Told you I have been busy ALL summer. This is just a glimpse into the past WEEK.Lots of pictures. {You've been warned.}

I’m sorry that I haven’t posted an update lately...things have been busy.

My beautiful daughter came over three days last week with sweet sweet baby so {of course} I had better things to do.  Like play with the baby, get the baby to sleep, hold a sleeping baby and of course take pictures of sweet sweet baby.  I took some to surprise my daughter and her boyfriend since sweet sweet baby turned seven months old.

Lovely O helped me take these pictures, she did all the heavy lifting by carrying the rocking chair outside.  The rocking chair was Superdads when he was a baby.  {gentle smile}  Sweet baby just wanted to stand up in the rocking chair or eat the arm of the rocking chair.

BUT we managed to get some amazing pictures.

Then I had a lovely bone scan at the hospital for my issues that are yet to be figured out.

Wanna see inside my body?  Pretty cool I suppose.

First they gave me a shot then I had to go back three hours later for the freaky scan.

We also went on an adventure up at Pisgah Inn on the parkway.  I love Pisgah Inn.  We recently headed up as a family, I already posted those pictures.  This time we went up with friends for lunch at the inn and took a small hike close by.  It was a nice time.  The food at Pisgah Inn is really tasty!  This time I enjoyed a beet salad with strawberries and feta cheese with a balsamic reduction.  YUMMY!!!!  I almost licked the plate!!

Friends.

I was fascinated with the butterflies and took lots of fun pictures of them.  Butterflies are so beautiful.

On another visit with sweet sweet baby I put on this shirt that I bought her.

I don’t know why you never see Mamaw stuff since we are in the south and we have lots of Mamaws walking around.  My biggest issue with this is finding a card for my very own Mamaw.  I don’t want a grandmother or nana card!!!  I want a Mamaw card!  Tell me why I cannot find them?  {hands on hips}

One thing that I love is that I am getting back into the kitchen.  I love cooking and baking and I have missed it so much.  One night I was in there cooking dinner and I suddenly wanted brownies.  I ended up throwing together cheesecake brownies with blueberries, strawberries and raspberries on top.  They were delicious!!  Just ask the ONES that ATE them ALL.

Don’t they just look delicious?!?!?!

One night Superdad took the girls to their very first baseball game!  They had a nice time!  While they were gone I watched Netflix then read in bed with Sophie.  I enjoyed having a moment alone.

It’s been a crazy busy summer!!!!

To top the weekend off I crocheted a childs poncho for a lovely little girl.  Not Ninja Gurl.  Remember when I crocheted Ninja that beautiful rainbow poncho?  Well I made another for a silent auction to benefit their school...it was bought by Ninja’s best friends mom so the best friends had matching ponchos.  The little sister of the best friend wanted one!  {of course}  So with the yarn I already had in the house I crocheted her one.  My unwilling model allowed to me to take ONE picture of the finished poncho.  I think it's really pretty.

Handsome B also got his wisdom teeth pulled and he worked a few days!  OUCH!

BONUS:  Enjoying time with my friend on Sunday.  It was brief but very nice.  {smiling}

So, as you can see I have been busy!  All of the above in ONE WEEK.  Just ONE WEEK.

This week will be just as busy if not busier!!

School starts for all FOUR children.

Handsome B is getting his license this week so he can get his car on the road.  {THUD}  I am so not ready for that!  Sniff sniff.  My baby boy on the road.  This is his senior year so I am terribly sad.  He will graduate from high school then venture to college.  He’s a good young man and I am proud of him.  We all are.  I couldn’t have asked for a better son.  I love him.

{wiping a tear}

So back to my week, school starts!  During all the chaos I am having dinner with a high school friend myself one night.  Then I go to the doctor for the bone scan results.  That makes me nervous.  I hope for answers but I am trying to not get my hopes up.  I have been let down so many times the past 14 months.  I don’t know what it’s like to wake up and not be in pain.

{shrug}

I hope that you all have a lovely week and I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Much love,
Supermom
