I’ve been addicted to reading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.
{THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!}

The Adventures of Supermom®

You’ve been warned ahead of time.

When I read a book I like it to be a clean slate so to speak so I can imagine the characters just the way I want them.  I want to create it all by myself.  It didn’t happen this way for me because since Starz just aired the first season on TV so the Outlander books you find now have the stars on the cover.

The Adventures of Supermom®

I usually NEVER buy a book this way but I couldn’t find a plain blue cover like the normal ones that was big enough for me to read without glasses.  I cannot stand those blasted small books.  Yeah yeah they fit nicely in your bag, yada yada.  I don’t care to carry around a I cannot see big print book so kiss my ass.

{Hands on hips}

So I finished my big print book {smirk} last week and then I had to think about it.  I have noticed that I’ve been having to force myself from saying ‘ye’ all the time.

Wha’ ye lassies doin’ over there?

I even ventured into the TV show since I found out that it covers the first book.  I was afraid at first thinking it may spoil a few things for me.

It did answer one main question that I had.

WHAT HAPPENED TO TIME WHERE SHE HAD BEEN WITH FRANK?

The show has us see Frank search for Claire.  It’s sad that she disappeared into the rock allowing time to continue.

Shrug.  This book is just really really good.  I just love the man that Jamie is.  His character.  Makes me want to rip his kilt off with my teeth.  Or perhaps he can spank me for doing wrong.  Or pretend that I did something wrong.  {fanning self}  Perhaps it’s the Scottish accent?  The actor from the TV show is just exactly how I would picture Jamie.  Perfect.  {nodding}

IDK.

TEAM JAIME.  Or CLAN FRASER.  OR REAL MEN WEAR KILTS.

I just know that this book has compelled me enough that I started the second one.

So tell me, what are you reading??
