I'm Julia Child.
When I mention her to Superdad he goes into his voice impersonating {which is WAY better than mine} and tells me to “Save the liver”.

Found on PBS.com of her making bread. |
I like liver!!! If it's cooked right. Nodding.
So I used to bake a lot of bread and I think I quit because Superdad went all gluten-free on me so I stopped making beautiful dough. The joy of making bread is watching it rise and turning it out onto the counter for the very first time. It was joyous for sure.
Previous bread making days.
YES, I would make homemade english muffins and they were good!
I decided to make some bread last week. Instead of the usual recipe I printed out Julia Child's bread recipe to use.
{insert Julia Child's voice announcing it was her recipe}
Letting it rise the second time.
Ready to bake.
It was beautiful. Seeing it rise. Rolling it out. Watching it rise again. Baking it. Then enjoying it with butter!!!!
Fresh out of the oven.
YUMMY!
I am going to start adding it to my bi-weekly routine as one batch will make two loaves. We are still working on one loaf and I have the second loaf in the freezer.
Who wants to come make some bread with me?
