No one wants to die in the forest!! Kids have a way with words.

An Eclectic Mix {Just like me}

This week has been extremely busy and I really cannot blog about it because it also involves someone very close to me and she doesn't want me to talk about her on the internet.  {Only because she is older and it's hard to explain to her all about it and such.}  So anyway, this extremely important person in my life has been in the hospital and I have been by her side – staying the night and then running home in the morning to do the mom and wife things and loving animal mom things that I usually do during the day.  {Take a nap, cook dinner, take care of the kids then go back up to the hospital.}

I'd stay up there 24 hours but I am unable to.

So you see, she takes precedence.   She is still in the hospital and I already have my bag packed to spend the night.  I miss my kids and my husband and my animals while I am not here but she is the most important woman in my life and I am not ready for her to go.  I do not know how I will manage without her.  The other day I crawled into her hospital bed and snuggled with her and cried.  I don't like this drying thing.  I know that we cannot live for forever and there are no buts I can add to that.  She just asked that I continue to teach my children about God and for them to live right.

We have talked about God a lot in the past few days.  So please God, just not now.  I am being selfish by asking but she cannot go yet.  Her work here is not finished.  She has a lot more to teach us.  Thank you.

Believe it or not BUT I have still been taking notes of the meals I have been making for the Kitchen Challenge.  Woot woot!  I am amazing!!!  We've had:

**Wednesday - Veggie Pasta with Sauce and Apple Slices**

AND FOR DESSERT:  Ice Cream Birthday Cake for Lovely O

The Adventures of Supermom®

**Thursday - Broccoli, Corn and Fresh Fruit**

AND!!!!  You guessed it!!!!

The Adventures of Supermom®

**Friday - Homemade Vegetable Soup**

AND........drum roll..........

The Adventures of Supermom®

I even had the ingredients to make an Apple Pie for Pi Day!  I was volunteered by my daughter!

I've been busy this week.  I guess my life isn't as boring as I thought it was.

Conversations with my best friend BG. #thebgs

This will be a random question that will be from a CrAzY conversation with my Beastie Grits.

The first ever question asked since the very small, more work to do, blog change over.

1)  Where do you keep your wine?

My response,

"Above the washing machine as no one else knows how to use such a complex machine."

She said, I picture with her hands on her hips, "Yeah, NO SHIT!  LOL"

Thank you thank you thank you,
