I’ve been reflecting on how amazing it has been to have her as my daughter. We are all extremely proud of her because she is amazing.
It seems like yesterday that I was just giving birth to 8 pounds 12 ounces of beauty. Hannah was a beautiful baby and such a joy. She was perfect and still is. I can remember everything about those first few days, learning to breastfeed, changing her diaper, and snuggling with her at night. It was fabulous. I couldn’t have asked for a better baby.
I can remember all the birthdays before this one! Her first birthday we were planning an outside party at my Mamaw’s house then of course it stormed and we had a downpour and, of course, the power went out as we were running to get everything inside her basement. Thankfully my daddy had a generator so we had power. Hannah thought she would entertain all of us by stepping and jumping in her birthday cake then she fell asleep so we opened all her presents! Ha ha.
It’s been an amazing 19 years. We’ve watched her learn to walk, speak her first words, write her name, dance to music, sing to songs, color beautiful rainbows, go to school, have her first crush and eventually her first date, we watched her graduate high school with high honors and she just completed her first year of college.
I am a very proud mommy and she has so many that love her. I love her.
I went through a few photo books and scanned some pics of Hannah. I hope that none of them embarrass her.
I love you Hannah Banana! Happy Birthday honey.
I love you,
