My inspiration came from HERE.  With the leftover yarn I'm going to make some granny squares to make some throw pillows for the bed.

I started this blanket on January 11, 2013 and finished it on March 24, 2013.  I spent close to $200.00 dollars on all the 100% cotton yarn.  I have lots of leftover yarn so it was money well spent.

I love my new blanket and I cannot wait until summer gets here so I can put it on the bed for those chilly mornings.

beautiful!! I love it! I love that little Sophie, too!! I have a Sophie~she's a sweetheart of a pup. Congrats on finishing your bedspread. One of these days, I hope to do the same {after I start one. ha}. My grandma{Nanny} and her sister always made these during my childhood; I wanna learn to carry on the craft of blanket making <33 I love the colors that you used~ so happy and lovely.
