Girls Night Out at Fired Up! Creative Lounge in downtown Asheville, North Carolina

I’m so happy to be able to share this amazing night with you because not only did I enjoy the company of amazing women but I get to tell you about a local company.  Supporting local is always awesome!  I’ve only been to Fired Up! with the kids so it was even better without the kids with grown women!  Shhh, don’t tell my kids I said that. 

I spoke to Linda via emails about having a Girls Night Out with some of my friends to paint some pottery so we set a date and then everyone patiently waited until it was that night, without kids. 

But with wine. 

And cupcakes.



And pottery.



It was awesome.

Last Friday I headed downtown to Fired Up! Creative Lounge to meet my gal pals to paint pottery and enjoy snacks.  Linda was very helpful explaining the pieces, paints and glazes and even showed us how to do certain things with our pottery using yarn. 

It’s fun to walk around the store to see the finished pieces, which you can buy, to get color ideas and to see what others have created!  It helps you think of the perfect color or the perfect pattern that you’d like to try.



Relax and Create!
Fun, easy and totally relaxing! Fired Up! Creative Lounge is a hands-on studio where you are the artist. Adults, teens and kids can all design and create glazed ceramics, pottery, mosaics and fused glass art and jewelry. We can help you create beautiful, one-of-a-kind keepsakes for friends, family or yourself. Our experienced staff can show you various techniques or you can explore on your own. Fired Up! is locally owned and operated by Linda and Mark Chester of Fairview, NC.

Parties & Groups
Where do groups in Western NC go when they want to do something unusual, creative and fun? Fired Up! Creative Lounge, that’s where! It’s the perfect location for any occasion. We have hosted birthday parties for all ages, bridal showers, baby showers, girls night out (also all ages!), office parties, business team-building events, church groups, social clubs, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, you name it!

Reservations are requested for groups of six or more, and we offer a special $4.00 per person studio fee for reserved groups! Bring your birthday cake, pizza, sodas, whatever, and we’ll make it a party! Responsible “brown bagging” is also welcomed.
