Day Fourteen – What are you thankful for?

I’ve been trying to catch up on posts, reviews and offer some amazing giveaways and post what I’m thankful for this whole month and I feel like a chicken with my head cut off.  So many things coming in and then trying to keep up with the extra groups that I’m in and remember that family I take care of…

I’m trying to schedule a bunch of things to post over the next few weeks so I can relax around the holidays with my family instead of worry about certain things.  Yes, I know there are things I have to post myself on certain days but at least I want the reviews to post over the next few weeks.

Back to what I am thankful for today.

I’m thankful for blogging.

I’ve dabbled in blogging since 2004 and it wasn’t even good blogging, it was just boring chit chat with no meaning.  I really was just talking to myself.  Somehow it evolved (I hope) into good blogging that people actually read.  Has it?

Blogging has been good to me and my family over the years.  We get lots of cool free things in the mail, get invited on fun family trips, I meet some great people from so many companies and I get to vent and stay sane.  The venting and staying sane part is what I used to do and that’s when everything else just fell in place. Thankfully I still need to vent and want to be sane.

One of the most amazing things I was able to experience was working with Vaseline.  I met an amazing director that came from California to film a webfilm with me and my family for Vaseline.  It was a whirlwind three days of FUN!  Sadly I ended up with a migraine on film day and huge bags under my eyes and I wasn’t really fond of my make-up but what’s a gal to do.  ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF IT!  The kids loved it too!

Then I was able to travel with Vaseline to do some amazing things and work with some amazing people.  It was amazing.  We ran I crawled in a marathon, skied busted my ass in Aspen, did the Polar Bear Plunge on Coney Island (twice) and even went to Duluth for dog sledding and fell off my sled.  I was able to cross off things that people put on their Bucket List.  I don’t have a Bucket List but perhaps I should make one.

Me getting ready to take off with my dogs.  Yes, I did the run alone and even fell off once.

I’m just thankful for all the companies that I have worked with and all the amazing people that I have met through blogging.

Most importantly I want to thank everyone that takes time from their busy day to keep up with me through the blog or on Facebook and Twitter.

Remember that without you, I’d just be talking to myself.

So, today I am thankful for blogging.

What are you thankful for?
