Zestra ~ A Review (Adults Only)

Let’s talk about sex.  Good sex.  Fun sex.  Got to have right now sex.  Ahhh, sex.  Let me just get it out of my system, typing sex that is, not the actual act of sex because I’m down with having lots of sex.  Sex sex sex sex.  Okay, I think I can type up the review now.  Sex talk from Supermom starts now.  Who would have thought I would have an ADULT ONLY post???

This is how this is going to go down (pun intended).  I talk about sex in general then I talk about how sex was with Zestra and then I tell you about Zestra then you run out and go buy Zestra.  Okay?

I have four children which proves I have sex but with having four children my/our sex life has gone way downhill.  Like a lot downhill because we have the family bed and in fact we still have one in the bed with us.  We love having the family bed and know that it won’t last forever but it has put a damper on our sex life and we can admit that.  Any parent knows how this works.  But for moms it is different because we get in the mood a different way and for men it’s a physical thing.  They can see us bend over and they are ready to go but for us it’s not so simple.

For women we have to be in the right mindset to be in the mood.  Depression, anxiety, menopause, working and taking care of the family and are we pissed at our significant other because they all contribute to having the right mindset.

I speak from my personal experience, I take care of so many things during the day that sex is the last thing on my mind.  Even more so when I had a nursing child attached to my boob 20 hours of the day!  Even though my children are older I still have so many responsibilities since I stay home to hold the fort down, so to speak.  Sex is still the last thing on my “to do” list and I don’t want it to feel like it’s a chore so I don’t have sex unless I’m in the mood for sex.  Does it hurt my relationship with my husband?  I’m sure it does because we don’t have that physical fulfillment that sex brings and the awesome feeling that sex brings when you are together.  Skin on skin and touching and kissing.

So, that being said, I was asked to review a product for women called Zestra.

Zestra is the only clinically tested and proven, all-natural sexual enhancement product for women on the market. Zestra has been recommended by physicians (including Dr. Oz), featured on The View, The Doctors, ABC Nightline, and more.

We had the house to ourselves which is very rare so of course I pulled out the Zestra and the Zestra Glide!  I followed the instructions perfectly and within a minute or two I felt all warm and fuzzy!  I refuse to say party in your panties but it was very warm down there just like they said it would be.  They call it the Zestra rush and I would agree!  I’m not embarrassed to say that sex that day was amazing like DON’T STOP amazing.  (In fact, I said that, I think.)  It heightened everything in ways that are not explainable but very enjoyable to all involved.

Worried about how it tastes?  Don’t even think about it because I hear it wasn’t a bad taste so oral sex isn’t a problem if you go that way.  :)

We both really enjoyed Zestra and Zestra Glide and loved adding it to our bedroom routine!!!  So, if you find yourself on the couch exhausted and think sex is the last thing on your mind, go apply some Zestra and you’ll wake right up!!  Can be used with your partner or solo!

Plus, it wasn't a one time deal!  We've used Zestra a couple of times and I've had the same response!  Yay ME!  :)

The FACTS (from their site):

What are Zestra’s ingredients?
Zestra’s unique, patented blend of botanical oils and extracts create deep pleasurable sensations. The botanical ingredients in Zestra include PA-free Borage Seed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Angelica Extract, Coleus Forskholii Extract, Theobromine, and the Anti-Oxidants Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Zestra’s botanical ingredients work together to safely and effectively enhance female sexual pleasure, sensation, sensitivity and satisfaction.

How does Zestra work?

Zestra is clinically proven to increase desire, arousal and satisfaction in 70% of women. It works by heightening a woman’s sense of touch – for deep, pleasurable sensations, sexual satisfaction and fulfillment. After applying Zestra to the clitoris and labia, the effects – the Zestra Rush™ – begin for most women within 3 to 5 minutes and last for up to 45 minutes.

How long has Zestra been on the market?
Zestra was first introduced in June 2002. The development of Zestra stems from over 5 years of research performed by pharmaceutical researchers and sexual health experts.

Are there any guarantees that Zestra will work for me?As with any product, response can vary from person to person, with some more responsive and others less so. Any number of factors can affect sexual health and enjoyment such as environment/lifestyle, diet, hormone levels, age, relationship status or certain prescription medications. If you have questions about whether Zestra is appropriate for you, talk with your healthcare professional, who knows your personal medical history and therefore can determine if Zestra is likely to work for you.

What can I expect when I apply Zestra?
Within 3 to 5 minutes, most women experience the pleasant, tingly and/or warming sensation we call the Zestra Rush. For a few, the sensation may result in a temporary feeling of discomfort. In that case, simply rinse off with soap and water. And of course, please reach out to us at 1-877-4-ZESTRA or here if you have any questions.

Are there any women who shouldn’t use Zestra?
Zestra should not be used by anyone with known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients in Zestra. As with many consumer products, Zestra should not be used by pregnant or lactating women, or women who are trying to conceive, as it has not been studied in those populations. Women with yeast infections and other irritating conditions of the genitals should refrain from using Zestra until the condition is resolved.

Can I use condoms with Zestra?

Zestra should NOT be used with latex condoms, but is safe to use with polyurethane condoms.
