Disney-Pixar Cars, Take Flight Giveaway

Disney is proud to announce a brand new twist on Disney-Pixar’s hit Cars animated films that launched in August.  From the continuing hit series Cars Toons: Mater’s Tall Tales to exclusive merchandise, Cars Take Flight will feature everyone’s favorite Cars characters taking to the skies, proving that not only airplanes can fly.

Cars are a favorite at our house so I was super excited when the Disney box came in the mail!  I never know what to expect when I get those special packages from Disney!  YAY!!!!  In the box there were three awesome Take Flight goodies!!!!  A Lightening McQueen Hawk by Mattel, Car Toon Mater on the Moon Die Cast 3 Piece Set and Air Mater and Other Tall Tales book. 

Lightening McQueen Hawk

I had originally planned to give all three away but the girls confiscated the book and die cast cars for themselves but I hid the Lightening McQueen Hawk (SPR $43.99) for the giveaway!  This toy is going to make one special child extremely (do chores for a week and make the bed or take the dog out) happy.



Inspired by the new flight-themed Disney•Pixar Cars Toons short, “Air Mater,” comes Lightning McQueen Hawk. With exciting transformation play, Lightning McQueen converts from a car into an airplane with wings. In driving mode Lightning McQueen has driving sounds and phrases. Once transformed into a plane he reveals rocker booster lights and fun projectiles. Lightning McQueen Hawk features built-in sensors so his phrases and sound effects respond to kids’ movements.
