"Let me show you something"

Does anyone else, besides me, remember Fire Marshall Bill, played by Jim Carrey on In Living Color?  I was a huge fan of the show and Jim Carrey.  I will also admit that I can imitate that look of his when he says that catch phrase.  Ha ha.  No, I will show you either.

Maybe one day I will.

Yesterday was R.O.U.G.H. !!!!  It started out like this:

My tires meets the curb at the high school.

I swear someone must have moved the curb during the night because I don’t recall it being that close before even though I’ve hit it a few times already over the past four years.   I also know it never ended up looking like this:

Spare tires look so tiny.

How lucky could I get with the spare tire almost flat right from the start???
*shaking head*

Then there were TWO, not one, BUT TWO ceremonies at school for my beautiful crazy wonderful teenage daughter that will be graduating in a few short weeks.  (Yes, I am that old.)  Do you know how hard it is to find someone to babysit a child with chicken pox?  Damn near impossible!  So, Superdad watched the babies so I could be a very proud mommy and see my daughter be recognized for two ceremonies, that’s one plus one!

She received two cords, some certificates and a tassel for Beta yesterday and I didn’t even cry!  I just knew I would be pouring buckets of tears but I guess I will reserve those for graduation.  *sigh* Graduation.  This sucks.  My baby is graduating high school.  How is this happening?  *sigh*

Instead of crying I just bought her some beautiful flowers.  Isn’t that what moms are supposed to do?
