I miss Katniss, Peeta and Gale
since I finished Mockingjay.

Sigh….

I finished Mockingjay so I’m left thinking about the book and the series and how it all ended.  I miss them terribly.

*spoilers so enter at own risk*

Mockingjay was pretty much what I thought it would be.  I was so sad for Peeta and Katniss during the whole book and all of the tragedy that it entailed.  All that were loss made me very sad!  I cried a lot reading this book and at times had to sit it down and walk away for a few so I could think.

I knew long before it happened who she would kill at the end and I knew that she had to do it because I fear it would have been the same with Coin as their new leader.  Just a hunch.   I knew from the beginning that Katniss and Peeta belonged together because he had loved her since the very beginning when he saw her in class and she sung for them.  That sort of love prevails or it’s supposed to.  I just didn’t see Gale as her match no matter how handsome he is portrayed in the movie.

Reading the last few pages over and over again made me happy with Katniss and Peeta and their life together.

I really hope that the movie does the book justice.  I will let you know!

Best books I’ve read in a long time.  Real or not real?

REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good book report Michelle. I liked the movie a lot but the ending was a little strange with her coming back to her area and seeing her sister on the shoulders of the guy she had liked so much and yet holding up the hand of her new love.
