It’s like Chinese Water torture!

This year marks the 45th anniversary of Star Trek first airing on television.  I know this because Superdad decided to celebrate this auspicious event by watching each episode in order on the anniversary of its original air date from forty-five years ago exactly at 7:30 pm est…every week…for the whole season.

I’m not joking

So, every Thursday, it’s Star Trek night at our house at 7:30, on the dot.

Yeah.  *sarcastically said*

Sure, Superdad is older than me and Star Trek was an important part of his life when it came on and such but for me it’s a goofy space TV show that I’d rather sleep through. I knew Superdad had his quirks but come on!!!!!!  Superdad there’s a reason we found the Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise in the basement of the Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC.

Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise

I'm just sayin'......

LOL, well, there are definitely worse things than that - and for the record, I too remember anxiously awaiting each and every episode of Star Trek, lol, I wouldn't do it NOW but back then it was the greatest thing on tv, well besides Starsky and Hutch, Dukes of Hazard, WKRP in Cinncinati, and Mels Diner.

Oh, I tease him. It's not that bad! I was a huge fan of WKRP and Mels Diner! I had forgot about Mels!!!
Good memories.
