School Lunch Makeover

Busy school days demand proper refueling at lunch. To keep kids – and moms – satisfied, Disney has provide an array of tasty, nutritious options and fun lunch necessities.  Packing lunches feels like a chore for me because I'm always trying to find healthy choices for the kids to eat.  Week after week I have to come up with a different plan of action for their lunch boxes.

Here are three tips to help your kids get a healthy lunch every day this week:

A fun assortment of healthy snacks.

    * Allow your kids to participate by making decisions about what to pack in their lunch

    * Include your kids when packing their lunch to teach your kids about the different food groups

    * Remember, it’s not just the food that gets kids excited – let them choose a lunch bag or container with their favorite character

Make it fun by having several choices each day for their lunch box.  Here are a few examples.
