That's how I try to live every single day of my life.
I don't want to sound like a broken record but I only tell it like it is. I am so blessed with my family and with my friends. They are amazing. They love me for me and wouldn't want me any other way.
This weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge I was able to watch my kids and my two nieces play in the water and just enjoy life! They didn't have a care in the world. Well, except what water slide to do next. Wouldn't it be awesome to be that way every day as adults. Our life gets cluttered at times because we have mortgages to pay, bills to pay, food to buy and the list only gets longer....
To be a child again.
I am excited watching my four kids grow because I know they will be excellent adults with a lot to offer in our world. I may even have the next President of the USA living in my house this very moment. I can dream, can't I? In all seriousness, I had a wonderful time this weekend trying to look through a child's eyes and just be in the moment.
I'm rather good at living in the moment. At least Superdad says that about me quiet a lot. Maybe he will comment with his opinion after reading this.
I have a goal for you.
Today, take a moment and just stop what you are doing. Take a few deep breaths as you look around. Absorb everything in around you. Don't worry about what you should be doing just think about that moment in time. Then if time allows come back here and tell me how you felt in your moment. Deal???
My Motto: Michelle, is learning to enjoy more, love completely, laugh and just be. To go along with my other signature that I made up "Without you, I'd just be talking to myself." I have this printed on my business cards because I made this saying up years ago and it suits me perfectly. Well, me and my blog. I handed out my business cards at the mommy bloggers dinner and someone commented on how they loved my signature. Yeah, I have a good line every now and then. Just don't go stealing them, ok. ha ha
I want to say a big huge THANK YOU to those that subscribed to The Adventures of Supermom Newsletter! I actually sat down yesterday and typed up my very first Christmas Newsletter and it mailed to the ones that had subscribed a few weeks ago. It has a picture, a recipe and more to come in it. I think it turned out rather well. You can still subscribe by clicking here. Don't forget to check your email to confirm your subscription. I will try to send out a newsletter once a month. So don't worry about me filling up your mailbox because, honestly, I'm too busy for that.
Remember I do have four kids, one husband and a life to live.
Always know though that,
"Without you, I'd just be talking to myself."
