Thanksgiving ~ A Christmas Story Style

Yes, you heard me correctly.  I guess you've put the pieces together by the title, we are going out to eat for Thanksgiving.  Since I just got home from traveling and I will be flying out again on Friday morning I have boycotted cooking this year.

Now that I am sick anyway it all works out.

I don't care if we end up at Cracker Barrel or a Chinese Restaurant at this point.  Just so someone will bring me my food, refill my tea, bring the dessert and then clean up the mess!  That's all I want for Thanksgiving.  (Singing the above like the "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" song.

All I want for Thanksgiving is to go out to eat.
Out to eat, see a menu and get a treat.
Gee, if I could only go out to eat.
Then I could wish you "Happy Thanksgiving".

It's all about being together as a family anyway.  I have so much to be thankful for this year, like every year.    Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year because you can spend time with your family without the stress of buying and giving gifts.

So, this year we are going to enjoy Thanksgiving, A Christmas Story style, in a restaurant.  Maybe even eating duck.
