Who would want to be in a warm cozy bed sandwiched between a sleeping baby and a sleeping husband when they could be up blogging?!?!?!? That's the question I ask you.
I haven't had a good nights sleep in over FIVE years. FIVE LONG YEARS.
Since I got pregnant with Lil O. Pregnant woman cannot sleep. Then after the baby is born you cannot sleep because you are breastfeeding and changing diapers every couple of hours during the night. Even when they get older they are still breastfeeding and kicking you in the head during the night. A kick in the head will make you jump out of bed very quickly I might add.
Then when you decide to wean, or your baby weans herself, you soon find out you are pregnant again.
WHICH MEANS: STILL NO SLEEP.
So, not only do you have a toddler at home you now have an infant. You are breastfeeding and changing diapers again. The baby gets older and you are still breastfeeding. You get the occasional kick in the face during the night because you share your bed with your baby.
Then because you've carried four babies to term your bladder is shot to hell so you have to pee a couple of times during the night since having child #2.
So, as I've said before, "Sleep is so overrated."
At least they are getting it:
I get it from time to time:
