I'm just not Supermom anymore....

I think I’m just worn out with blogging. I’ve been around a long time and I think I have given all the advice that I know. You firs...

Pay backs are a YOU KNOW WHAT!

How often to you tell your children this? For example: Don't be mean to your sister, she will get you back!

I remember telling H that all the time when B2 was little. It came true. When he got older he tortured her. Sadly now she rules the roost again.

So, we have been telling Lil O, "Don't be mean to Baby M, she will get you back." Well, guess what?

Pay backs are being made at the Supermom house.

Baby M has discovered that she can BITE!!!!!!!!!! Along with eating crayons!!!

Poor Lil O has been bitten a few times. I know biting hurts. Now, I have to stop the biting!!!!!

I have one bit of advice.

That's all the advice I have at the moment.

It's Monday already???? Weird how that happens!!! I am having Mrs F over today. This should be good!!!!

It must be an acquired taste.

I have never had a child really gravitate to eating one certain thing. Of course something they really shouldn't be chowing down on anyway. Know what I mean?? For example:

Baby M loves to eat crayons. SERIOUSLY!! You cannot leave a crayon anywhere because she can sniff it out like a blood hound and start her afternoon snack!

It's comical. I will set the girls up and give her ONLY one crayon to color with. She loves to color ALMOST as much as she loves to eat her crayon. I can turn my head for a second and a big hunk will be gone. Including the paper on the crayon. She'll be chewing as she smiles at you with her "innocent" smile.

I've even had to floss her little bitty baby teeth to get the crayon paper OUT from between them!!!! Honest, I have. ~shaking head~

I cannot keep her from coloring. So, I am guessing she will grow out of this crayon eating phase!!!! At least they aren't toxic. Or I hope so anyway...

My handsome son B. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PICTURE OF HIM. Check out those blue eyes.

O with her bright pink play-doh.

"Waaal, looks like we've got ourselves a reader."

**Please don't take the stand-up comic line the wrong way. Bill Hicks was in a Waffle House alone reading when the waitress approached him. She didn't ask him, "What are you reading?" She wanted to know why he was reading. After he said what he had to say someone stood up behind him and actually said, "Waaal, looks like we've got ourselves a reader."**

Hence this is where my story began...

The waitress said, "What are you reading for?"

Bill Hicks reply was brutally funny: "Well, I read for a lot of reasons, but one of them is so I don't end up a fucking waffle waitress."

Since I am a READER, I find this very humorous. Any Bill Hicks fans????????

Last night I had a game night. Which was Anna and Renee coming over with their kids. We had pizza. Snacks. Beer. Wine. Renee brought her vodka.

It was a really nice night. The only ones to actually play games was B and Renee's two boys. We were too busy talking and laughing!

Here's a picture that Renee took:

Okay, I am off to read a book.

Week in Review

I am that woman!

Who gets up with her awesomely cool bedhead, grabs her robe and purse.

Then drives the kids to school in her pajamas. While drinking her coffee jamming out to some tunes.

Yes, that's me.

Lets go round and round!

Sit n Spin

Sit n Spin

Sit n Spin

Sit n Spin

Sit n Spin

The older kids are back in school. I am a bit happy about this. Okay, I am very happy about this! Does that make me bad? Here's a picture taken this morning BEFORE H took 5 minutes to put on her black skinny jeans.

First Day of School

Yes, H did in fact dye her hair a dark brown yesterday. I really think she is changing her image to a hard rocker type girl. Whatever works! :)

This one time at band camp.

H didn't actually say OMG I am just adding that so you will know how excited she was telling me this story when she came home a minute ago.

O.M.G. Did you know Icing is no longer in the mall?!?!? It's now an "As Seen on TV" store.

As she is showing me her brand new skull earrings.

For those who don't know about Icing it's just a girly girl store that sells jewelry and accessories. In my mind I am trying to decide how that will solve world peace or stop hunger. Don't get me started on the skull earrings. ~shaking head~ Pick your battles SUPERMOM!!! Walk away and save yourself.

After that conversation I took a bath and began to think about the crazy stuff that always makes me laugh.

*This one time at bandcamp is one of those sayings. I actually had a small cousin that said that all the time because she was in fact in band and went to bandcamp. Of course it was after the popular movies came out so I flashed back to those. So, ~popping gum~ this one time at bandcamp...

*Dating a man name Richard and his family calling him Dick. Even his younger nephews and niece called him Uncle Dick. Really, after a few cocktails I could never keep a straight face. And it was always after 5 somewhere in the world to have cocktails.

*How you doin'? Do I really need to explain this one?

*I know this will sound childish but of course hearing BONER makes me giggle. I cannot help it.
I admit it, I am 35 years old and hearing boner makes me giggle.

So now you know.

What makes you giggle?????

You might need a tissue for this week in review.

**WARNING** In RARE form so read at your own risk!

As I sit here all pissy.

I could type a transcript of the whole video before you could even watch it. HA HA!!!

This blog post is where Supermom has a change of attitude and hopes that you do to.

Thank you for all the condolences about my great grandfather passing away this week. It meant so much to get all of them from all of you. Thank you.

Sometimes I will spill the beans about something that happened in our house and Superdad will fuss about it. It doesn't happen often but IT does happen. My response, "It's my blog. If you don't like what you read then don't read it." I think it's rather simple. I blog about things that other moms/women relate to. No biggie.

Superdad you might want to skip this part because I am going to talk about you.

Yesterday when SD got home from work I was watching NCIS with H. My MIL got me hooked to this show when we were in DC. Man, this one channel plays them like 6 hours of the day it seems. Anyway, I could tell SD was in a mood. I asked him what was the matter and his reply was "nothing." He mentioned he was tired and hungry. I told him that I would fix dinner in a minute. To which he MUMBLES, "In 30 minutes." Meaning when the TV show went off. This pissed me off royally. SERIOUSLY. Was that productive? Did it accomplish anything??

So, I got up and went to the kitchen to fix dinner. How dare me sit down on the job!!!!! What the hell was I thinking? He comes into the kitchen telling me that I could watch the rest of the show but nope, I am going to feed everyone like a devoted housewife does. He then tells me he has lost his appetite. I know the feeling because I did mine as well.

He sits at the table balancing the checkbook while I hand out plates. Everyone is eating but him. As I am cleaning the kitchen he eats his dinner alone.

See, this made me angry. Things like this are not called for. Such a total waste of time and energy.

I just want to scream, "HOLY SHIT!! I just lost the only grandfather that I had left. You want to pick a fight about a damn TV show ending and when I fix dinner. Do you not know where the kitchen is?"

~deep breath. in. out.~

Anyway, I am sure you can imagine how the rest of the night went. IN SILENCE!!! Which is how A LOT of our nights end.

I'm tired of this. I have a new plan. A new outlook on life. I spoke about it in the vlog but since it's taking HOURS to upload I will have to type it out for you.

From now on I am going to wake up happy. Love as much as I can. Laugh at the small things. Laugh at everything basically. Experience new things. Meet new people. We are never promised tomorrow so why are we wasting today with petty crap?

That's it. So from now on I want you to be happy, love as much as you can, laugh and enjoy your day.

**UPDATE** I wanted to share an awesome comment that came through on Facebook. Thank you for leaving it!

No one can ever be happy and positive ALL the time. However, I think if we just try to be grateful for what we have in our lives, it is possible to do it MOST of the time.
I don't express it much but you are an amazing woman. I really don't know if I could do all that you do. You rock and I am so happy you are staying on the positive side of things.

My great grandfather died this afternoon.

It saddens me to have to type this post tonight. I just returned from my grandmothers house from comforting her because her daddy died. I know that papaw was 98 but still....

I have to process all this and have time to grieve. I am going to take a few days off from blogging.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this difficult time.

Here is a picture of my great grandfather at 97 years old. I had just had Baby M so I took her for a visit.

Let the OCD begin. OR please END ALREADY!!!

It hit hard yesterday when we got home. Maybe it was being away from home that triggered it. Maybe a combination of the medicine I took for carsickness combined with my anxiety medication. Add some Aleve for my sore body and my headache meds as well. Goodness, I'd hate to have blood work anytime soon!

So, even after sitting in a car for 8 hours I cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom. I mean CLEANED. Then I rearranged things in my china cabinet after everyone was in bed.

It didn't stop there. This morning we got up to shop at Target and the grocery store. When we got home I worked on the kitchen a bit more polishing the cabinets. Rearranged the closet in my bedroom and added organization drawers. Picked up throughout the whole house. Mopped. Vacuumed. Cooked a lovely dinner. OH, WASHED TWO MOUNTAINS THE SIZE OF EVEREST OF DIRTY LAUNDRY. To which I will fold tomorrow.

I hope this passes rather quickly! Like tonight when I go to bed the OCD tendencies with vanish in thin air.

I can hope.

Here's a funny I want to share. I picked up this really nice spice rack today that can sit on the counter top or hang. I already have it hanging. Anyway, I am cooking dinner and H says,

"Mom, why does this spice rack have marijuana in it?"

I was thinking, "Huh, it was expensive BUT not that EXPENSIVE."

I laughed as I told her, without even looking at the rack, "Honey, that's marjoram. A spice."

We got a much needed giggle.

It seems like there was something else I wanted to mention but I cannot remember!!!

I guess that's my hint to bid you all a goodnight!

Washington DC.

A detailed blog to come tomorrow. Eventually. I do have a life you know. :)

My last full day in Washington DC.

Today has been an awesome day!!!!! We hit the two Museums. Natural History and American History. We even hit a few memorials. The most touching experience I had was visiting the WWII Memorial. It was breathtaking. I had the privilege of talking with a WWII Veteran. His name was Wesley O. Niccolls, Sr.

Connecticut Honor Flight 2009 WWII Memorial Visit 23 mAY 2009 039

I enjoyed hearing him talk about what he did in the war and hearing about his adventures since. I admit that after we spoke and turned to walk away I got choked and my eyes were full of tears. I know I will never see that remarkable man again. I have tears in my eyes now thinking about him. I should have given him a huge hug before we left! He deserved it. I know that some day I will regret not giving him one. I already do.

We took 100's of pictures today. I am sorry but I cannot get them to transfer over tonight for some odd reason. I would only post a teaser picture so that's okay. When I get home I plan on making a HUGE Flickr slideshow for you!

Just know that I really appreciate Country Inns & Suites for giving my family this wonderful experience! YOU ROCK COUNTRY INN & SUITES. I will also be typing up a lovely review of Country Inn & Suites.

Week in Review.

Please ignore the bags the size of Texas under my eyes! I am tired. Very tired.

What day is it anyway?

I am sooooo exhausted! I barely can breath!

We spent most of the day at the Air & Space Museum. It was awesome!! I took lots of pictures and I will post them when we get home. It was amazing to see all the parts of our history. When I go to a museum I just like to get lost in my surroundings. I don't want to follow a map or have a tour guide. I want to see and feel for myself. I want to go back in history and visualize the Wright Brother's flying their plane. I want to travel back to the Apollo 13 mission and imagine I am gazing at Earth from the spaceship.

It was truly amazing. I cannot wait to get to the other museum tomorrow.

We stopped by some monuments and memorials on our way back to our Country Inns & Suites. I cannot wait to show all these pictures.

I will leave you one picture. This is for you Star Trek fans.

Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise

Just Random Stuff

Things I have heard and probably said the past couple days.

~We told Lil O, "If mommy ain't happy then no one's happy."

To which Lil O said, "If mommy ain't happy then I am happy."

YES, she did say that! I will have to work on that when I get home.

Overheard today at the zoo:

"Smile!! This picture is for Facebook."

This came out of my mouth today while watching the mommy and her baby gorilla.

"I hope she breastfeeds the baby!! I want to see that."

Supermom actually thought and said this, "I really thought we'd be through this zoo by lunch."

Baby M hasn't breastfed today much because she is in a different place. My boobs are HUGE and they hurt. I said, "Ohhhh, H do you want to nurse?" She wasn't amused. So I then said, How about you B2?"

That's all I got.

Day Two in Washington DC.

Hello Supermom FANS!!!!!

We made it back to our room at the Country Inns & Suites!! Boy is it good to be back! We got up this morning about 7 am. I SLEPT REALLY GOOD LAST NIGHT IN BED WITH MY MOTHER IN LAW!! I bet you don't hear that often. Lil O crawled in bed with Superdad and fell asleep so I crawled in bed with my MIL and Baby M. The bed was heavenly!!!

I slept like a baby!

After a nice breakfast in our hotel we headed to the Washington DC Zoo. They have PANDAS!!! I have never seen a Panda before in any zoo that I have been to. Here's a picture of one of the adorable creatures!!!

Washington Zoo Panda

I love ZOOS!!! I always have. My favorite animals are the gorillas and the elephants! The Washington DC Zoo also had a baby gorilla. A baby girl born in January.
She was beautiful! We have pictures and I will post them when we return home. I had hoped to see her breastfeed but she didn't! That would have been totally awesome!

Tomorrow I look forward to checking off more items on the Founding Father's Itinerary from Country Inns & Suite!

Here's what you've been waiting for!

I am sitting down to type up a blog post about today. Then I am going to enjoy some family time with the kiddies and my MIL.

This day has gone by pretty fast. I was up after 5 am and we were on the road by 7 am. We were in the minivan about 15 whole minutes when the "ARE WE THERE YET" was said by a certain 4 year old that I will not call by name. But we all know who I am talking about!!!!

We traveled up 81 through Virginia. It was the most beautiful farm land. I have never seen so many cows!!!!! It was a pleasurable ride. I was even able to enjoy the ride without getting carsick! HUGE BONUS!!!!

Taking the right amount of prescription carsickness medicine was much better than overdosing on Dramamine! Not that I would intentionally overdose. Oh, who am I kidding!!! I did take more than the recommended dose that one time because I was very sick! Anyway....

We stopped along the way to get a bite to eat for lunch and for me to breastfeed Baby M. We came across this road that was named Tinkling Brooks or something like that. It made me want to TINKLE!!!!!! What sort of name is that anyway???? Then right across from Tinkling Brooks there was a has station named Sheetz. To which I said, "Cool, when you are 3 SHEETZ to the wind there is a 24 hour gas station to buy your snacks!'

We checked into our hotel about 3:10 pm. I love our room! I am glad that we have a suite and our bedroom is away from the older kids! That way we don't have to hear them bicker back and forth!!!! Thank you Country Inns & Suites for making it possible for me to get some sleep tonight!

I took pictures of our room before it got totally kidafied!!!! I think I just made up a new word. I will post most of my pictures when we return home! I am just going to give you a small sample while we are away!

Here is a picture of Baby M enjoying her cookie after we checked in.

Baby M with cookie
All four of my kids.

All 4 SuperKids

B2 Pool
Baby M playing.

Baby M
I will say that our pool isn't small kid friendly. The tiles were very slick and Baby M really didn't have a place to play. That's okay thought because I am able to type this up while he older kids are playing in the pool.

Everyone that works here has been super nice. They recommended a family place for us to eat for dinner. It was yummy and everyone was able to eat what they liked!! It's hard to find one restaurant that will make 6 people happy. Seven at the moment because we have my MIL with us.

We made it back from dinner only to find that H had forgotten her deodorant and hair spray at home. She went down to the desk and they gave her some for FREE!!!! Awesome!!!

Do you want a Sticker???

I made these for our trip and putting them all over everything!!!!!!!!!!!

Inna weird mood.

I kind of like it when I am in a weird mood. I have a song looping through my mind.

That sort of mood.

I have so much to accomplish today. The excitement is taking over. I doubt I will get any sleep tonight. That's okay because my carsickness medicine will let me sleep tomorrow. I can see myself checking into the hotel with bed face and drool marks down my face and shirt.

"Yeah, I'm Subbermom. Here to sheck in." Said in slur speak. They'd think I was an alcoholic. I probably shouldn't ask if they have a hotel bar. JOKING!!!!

I should just to mess with them. ~innocent grin~

Or I could be like the woman from SNL that had all the medicines in her purse with lipstick smeared all around her mouth. I could set my purse on the counter and pull all my meds out as I look for my confirmation number.

Told you I was in a mood.

Who wants to call so we can chat?!!?!?! I promise to make you laugh.

I won't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am with Hewlett-Packard!!! They sent me ONE email and never got back with me. I thought that was rather rude myself. I wasn't asking for a handout. They would have gotten lots of FREE advertising from an upcoming mommy blogger!! Geesh! Future note to Hewlett-Packard ~ It's just polite to email someone even if the answer is NO for sponsorship! Don't keep them hanging. AGAIN, it's RUDE!!!!!! When I get back from my trip and start looking at laptops to buy, I will not be looking at Hewlett-Packards.

Okay, I got that off my chest!

Now I must finish my huge "TO DO" list.

Counting days until school starts, are we??

I will admit that I am not!!! This summer has been fun! The kids have been lots of fun! I will miss them when they start back! Plus, going back to school means another year closer to them graduating. Which means I am another year older. I could go on and on.

This year B2 starts middle school. A brand new middle school. He is really excited!! I am not. My only boy is getting older. It's sad. Next thing he'll have a girlfriend. UGH!!! GAG!!!! ~amused smile~

H will be in her second year of high school. My beautiful H. I will have to loosen the apron strings this year and let her explore a bit more I suppose. MAYBE!!!!!!! She is 15. I have to give her more opportunities to earn trust. I know she will screw up from time to time but it's part of learning.

This is Lil O's last year at home. ~SOBBING~ She will start Kindergarten in 2010. DAMMIT, why do they have to grow up??!??!?!?? I don't want Lil O to go to school. It will make me sad. Perhaps I should look into homeschooling since Mrs F is.

Might as well sign up Baby M for college the way time is moving so fast. Or have another baby. I don't think I want another baby. I am ready to explore and enjoy my life. Not having a baby attached to my boob and such. Not that I am being selfish or anything.

There are a few things I want to get into when my kids get older. It's exciting to plan for the future.

Speaking of the very near future. I am going to finish this delicious cup of coffee and see what I can get into.

Whole lotta crotch grabbing going on!

I took the kids to a popular indoor play area for some entertainment. It was very entertaining!

I will say that I have never seen so MUCH crotch grabbing in my life!!!

A lot of young KIDS needing to go potty but afraid to tell their parents and miss all the fun.

I admit I ask Lil O, "Do you need to potty? Then STOP grabbing yourself!"

This morning I am heading to Nathans house. He's a friend that I met through Superdad. Nathan married us at his house in fact!! I guess he even got us together. I was stranded in a hotel because of the snow next to the drug store I managed. I invited Superdad to come stay with me. Nathan told Superdad, "What do you have better to do?"

Needless to say I had an overnight guest in the snow! The night included ONLY SNUGGLING. We had just met and were in that shy phase I guess. Anyway...

This is what happened next:

If you know me then you know I am addicted to Facebook. I enjoy updating my status and playing Scrabble with someone I went to high school with. It's also a great place to meet new people. It's also a place to meet weird ones too but I won't get into that.

So, after my conversation with Nathan on the phone last night I was teasing him that I was going to change my status to "It's complicated" and add his name. His wife knows I am harmless so she wouldn't mind. Plus, she reads my blog. HA HA!!! So does Superdad.

So, if you see my status as, "Married to Superdad but It's Complicated with Nathan" don't worry we aren't headed for divorce court!

What does your "To Pack" list look like?

Let me show a glimpse of mine:

~anxiety meds
~headache meds
~carsick meds
~safety plugs

I bring this up because on our recent trip to Pigeon Forge, TN I brought out the safety plugs as soon as we entered our hotel room. I didn't want to have to continually watch Baby M and scream, "DON'T PUT YOUR TOYS IN THE ELECTRICAL PLUGS!!!"

Surely I am not the only one who thinks of safety plugs.

Whatever my baby wants!

I have a heartbroken teenage daughter. Very heartbroken!

I took her and the BF to the pool earlier this week and we all had a great time. She even took some great pictures of them together.

He has been cryptic the past few days. His parents have been "arguing" and he hasn't been able to call H.

He finally called yesterday. He was crying and very upset. He is moving to another city, four hours away from us. He told H that they had to break up and he wouldn't be able to talk to her anymore.

I guess with the distance he didn't think it would be a good thing for them to still be BF and GF.

I had a sobbing teenage daughter come to me as I was sitting on the porch. My poor baby is heartbroken. I was comforting to her. I told her that the parents may work things out and this will all blow over. It was very sad.

So do you want to know what I did as a loving mother?

At 8:40 pm last night I was cooking her bacon. Because that's what she wanted.

The following acronym probably will not be seen on this blog.

Well, I shouldn't say that. Maybe one day!

Here lately I have been cruising the WWW checking out all sorts of interesting things. GOD, I love the Internet!!! HA HA!!

A different times I will come across a picture and think, "WOW, you shouldn't open this at work!"
It's not like I am looking at porn because it's not like that. I can be reading a respectable online site/blog and come across a kinky subject that includes a picture. No biggie.

I must be slow at times because I never knew what NSFW meant! DUHHH, big red fire truck! I think I will study up on my acronyms!

Just know you will probably never see NSFW on The Adventures of Supermom! Unless, I get brave and show you my lopsided breasts or show you a picture of me being spanked. Sorry, but I would never post those pictures for you to see.

NSFW ~ Not Suitable For Work

Supermom has a TIP ~ Buying Spices in Bulk

Spices are expensive!!! I cringe at the thought of buying a SMALL spice jar for over $5.00. I have learned that buying your spices in bulk saves you lots of MONEY!!!!

I shop at an organic grocery that has lots of spices you can buy in bulk.

Let me show you the math.

Same amount of spice.

Bulk Spices ~ 68 cents
Name Brand Already in a Bottle ~ $5.00 +

No, I am not making that up! You can buy small glass spice jars for $1.50, label them and just keep reusing them for your bulk spices!

It's easy!

Out of the mouths of babes.

I was having a coughing fit. Lil O was talking to me.

I had to tell her, "Wait a sec. I cannot hear you because I am coughing."

Lil O ~ "Hold your mouth shut and you'll stop."

~coughing~ "I cannot stop coughing."

Lil O ~ "Hold you mouth tighter, like this." She seals her lips together tighter than the seal on my refrigerator!

It didn't work.

My Interview for 5 Minutes for Mom.

I have the best teenage daughter.

I have been wanting to blog about this for a few days. I am making myself sit down and type this up. Ignoring the kids bickering in the background!!! Which I am really good at doing by the way.

I have been bragging about H to everyone that will listen. Now, it's your turn to hear!

I got sick all of a sudden and was in bed for a week. My wonderful beautiful intelligent teenage daughter stepped up and ran the house the best to her ability.

It was amazing. She was such a tremendous help to me while I was unable to do anything. She changed diapers. She babysat so I could sleep. She cooked. She bathed. She picked up. She took care of me.

I know that I may complain about her hormonal teenage behavior but she is an awesome young lady. I already knew this but I wanted you to know!

Thank you Beautiful H! I love you.
Your Mommy

Remember when I was craving creamed peanut butter filled donuts glazed with chocolate?

I even went as far as calling TWO donut places to see if that was a donut option! I tell you!!! My mind was in a funny haze from being sick! Something fabulous came from the craving though!! A new cake was formed!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

Yes, it was as YUMMY as it looks!!!!

I used the chocolate cake recipe on the Hershey Cocoa Box. In my opinion that is the BEST CHOCOLATE cake recipe you will ever need. It's the only one I use for chocolate cake.

I knew I wanted a chocolate peanut butter icing. I thought I would just make some chocolate icing and add creamy peanut butter. Just to be sure I did a quick Google search and found this recipe for chocolate peanut butter icing.
I doubled it because I wanted lots of icing! I even had some to spare. YUMMY!!!

The cake was gone in TWO DAYS!!!! I heard that it was the BEST cake and I OUTDID myself!!!!!

You will want to try this cake!!! I promise. I hope that you enjoy it as much as my family did!!!!!

Yesterday, I took ALL FOUR KIDS to the pool. Well, five if you count the boyfriend. Not MINE, I stopped and picked up H's. We had a nice time.

I love coffee, especially Monday morning...

It's not like I drink it alllll day! In the morning I wake up and drink 2 cups. No biggie. But around 3 ish every day I need a caffeine fix so I make 2 more cups. I know that's not really a big deal. I am not drinking like 12 cups a day.

I am not sure if it's because I have been sick or if my body is trying to torture me. I haven't been sleepy since I've been sick. I stay up until 1 ish and get up early. Even though I haven't had much sleep I don't feel tired. Weird.

I decided last week to take the plunge and give up my afternoon coffee fix.

Today is DAY ONE!

I'll tell you how it goes!

Thank you for all the get well wishes comments!!! I am feeling rather well except for the cough I have. No, I haven't been to the doctor. I am sure I am on the road to recovery so I will just give it some time. No, I am not being stubborn. Okay, maybe a little. I am fine. I promise!

The kiddos want to hit the pool today. I think it's a great idea. I can get out in the sun and chase the baby while we are there! HA HA! I am really behind on reviews and should be working on those. Perhaps, this afternoon when I am dying for that coffee fix I will work on reviews!

We are counting down the days to our Washington DC trip!!!!! I am really excited! The DC guide came in the mail last week so we are going to plan our daily touring to see AS much as humanly possible! You know I will be blogging, posting pictures, taking video and twittering all about this trip!

I am really bummed that Hewlett-Packard never got back with me. Oh well. Such is life.

Okay, I am going to enjoy my second cup of coffee and start my day!

Thank you Mountain Express!

I was mentioned in Video a-go-go again!

One person who wasn't able to get much of the Bele Chere experience was Supermom. She was sick all week, even losing her voice. But that didn't stop this dedicated vlogger. Where there's a will--and an audience of loyal viewers--there's a way.

I didn't want you to think I wasn't coming back.

I'm up and moving around. Finally. I've been sick one whole week!

604 800 seconds if you were just curious.

I was desperate last night and I made myself a Peach Brandy Hot Toddy last night hoping the alcohol would relax me enough so I would drift off to sleep. Didn't work. I think I should like double or triple the brandy next time. Hell, just do shots!!!! That'll work.

So, I sat in bed. Rolled around in bed. Read emails. Caught up on reading blogs. Sent emails.

I don't remember when I drifted off to dream land. I do remember waking up around 3:45 am, hacked my way into the living room to watch crap TV. Baby M woke up about 5ish to nurse so I crawled back in bed. I think I got an extra 1 1/2 hours of sleep with very weird dreams. Not Sarah Palin weird but weird nonetheless.

It is such a beautiful day here. Some of the kids went to the tailgate market with Superdad. Some played outside. Some watched TV. Some played on MYSPACE! Do you want to know what I have been doing??

I curled up next to Baby M and took a NAP! A much needed nap with ZERO coughing.

I wish I would get my appetite back. I bet I have lost some pounds being sick this week. In fact I know I have because certain clothes were hanging on me. Certain clothes as in my undies. I actually had Superdad buy me smaller ones this week on his Target trip! I wish I could have seen that shopping trip. Superdad walking around the ladies panties looking for cotton panties for his wife. Yes, I am very practical when it comes to my panties. UNLESS, I am all dressed up or have special "plans" later on. Then I love my VS undies! The soft ones that don't show lines! Oh, or their lacy ones!! They are the best panties you will ever wear!! They are so worth the price! Maybe VS will send me a bouquet of flowers made from panties for the shout out!

Enough talk about my panties.

I hope that everyone enjoys their weekend. I have notes for future blog topics when I start to feel better.
