Supermom...totally love the week in review. I am looking forwsrd to seeing this show coming up. We or rather other people as parents need to be aware that these things happen everyday with preditors. I can hear so many people saying they are not going to watch because it just grosses them out. But turning your head to these issues is just like saying it does not happen and you are letting it go on. As you and I have talked about before I made a choice when I was a teenager to not have children. Not that I don't love kids I do and love hanging with O and M but I have that fear of someone getting to my child because we can't always protect them. Just because they carry a cell phone does not mean they can call for help. I can remember in 1981 when Adam Walsh was killed. It scared me for life. I thought I might change my mind as I get older but I have not. I leave it in God's hands if he thinks I should be a mom.
The death of 3 icons this week is also something that has effected me. I watched Fara's Story and remembered what my cousin went through in her last days. She fought her cancer for time much like Fara. Sheild died 9 months after she was diagnosed. I see cancer. Research cancer. But there is so much I don't understand about it.
I write about the day to day life of a family of six.
I talk about having a hormonal teenage daughter who likes to wear pants that take her five minutes to get into. My son even gets blogged about because once he wiped a booger on the wall and it was brought up during my LIVE TV interview. The babies, Baby M and Lovely O, give me a lot of funny blogging material!
I believe in eating organic and love homemade cooking and often share recipes!
I often refer to myself as June Cleaver with leopard print heels and pearls.
