FOUR days until MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!

I just wanted to give the guy readers a heads up. Or you can even leave this blog post up so they can read it. I thought I would type up how I feel about Mother's Day and a few gift ideas that I would like. Perhaps you would too.

Personally I would rather celebrate the day I gave a baby life than turning a year older. Yesterday I was telling Superdad and the kids and SUNDAY is Mother's Day!!!!!! Superdad said what do you want? I said imagine it's my birthday and get me that gift. For my birthday I just want a card honey! You are officially off the hook. Well, you are throwing me a birthday par-tay at Chuck E Cheese!! HA HA!!!

So anyway. Here are a few things that a mother would appreciate on Mother's Day:

~ Card. DUH!!!!!!!!

~ Flowers. This is totally up to you but doesn't hurt. We may say don't waste your money on flowers but if you bring home an assortment of beautiful flowers we aren't going to fuss about it!!! In fact we will take pictures and brag about how beautiful they are on our online blog.

~ Candy. Please save this for Valentine's Day. That's just my opinion but I don't want candy on Mother's Day.

~ Jewelry. This is always nice. It doesn't have to be expensive. We love getting it for any occasion. We may say don't get us anything like that but we lie. We also tell you we don't mind watching sports with you too. Remember that.

~ Perfume. A classic scent like Coco #5 would be awesome to give a mother on her special day.

~ Brunch. We love going out to brunch on Mother's Day. I don't know why but I really enjoy this. Showing off my handsome husband and my four beautiful kids on Mother's Day is an AWESOME feeling! Can't you see me beaming across the room?

There is Supermoms short list for Mother's Day. Feel free to add what you want in the comment section.

**UPDATE** I totally forgot about the wonderful handmade gifts from the kids!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

ANYTHING homemade by my children! I love the stuff these kids bring to me. I don't care if its dandlions, if its heartfelt that's what matters.
Oh and the song the kids usually sing at church in Sacrament mtg...usually chokes me up as well and I am reminded everyday what wonderful children I have.

I'm so with you on the brunch... it is a must. I really hope Mr F remembers how badly last year's brunch went and makes up for it this year!!!

I am glad someone else agrees with BRUNCH!! It wouldn't be the same without brunch!

The rest of the ideas are to psyche superdad out!!
